Each year at the ARBA National Convention, the association sponsors a Royalty Contest for the youth members. There are 8 categories, as shown above.

The competition consists of a written application, written test, interview, identification contest, and judging contest. (Lord and Lady exempt from judging contest).

Youth Scholarship

The ARBA offers Youth Scholarships each year for those that meet the criteria for eligibility.

	Applicants must have held continuous membership in the ARBA for at least 3 years preceding application.
	Applicant must be a Graduating Senior.
	Applicant must have completed High School with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 (unweighted) on a scale of 4.00, and be in the top 50% of graduating class.
	Home schooled applicants are eligible, but must submit SAT or ACT scores, and a letter of recommendation from a person outside the immediately family.
