ARBA Legislative News

The following change to ARBA Show Rules Section 52 is effective immediately:

SECTION 52. Youth exhibitors may enter sanctioned youth shows between the ages of five (5) and eighteen (18) years. An adult cannot show in youth classes at any time. Youth exhibitors must be able to handle their own animals. If stated in the show catalog, all youth entries must be carried by youth. Youth exhibitors are not required to carry their own animals to the table.

The ARBA Board of Directors is currently accepting applications for the position of ARBA Executive Director to work in the ARBA office in Bloomington, Illinois.

The ARBA Board has approved an amendment to the employment agreement between the ARBA and our Executive Director Brad Boyce. Based on the amendment his contract will end on June 30, 2009. A search committee has been appointed and we are currently accepting applications for the position of ARBA Executive Director. The ARBA Board is working to ensure continued service to our valued membership. In addition, we are working to ensure a smooth transition to a new Executive Director within the ARBA office.
