Curt has been involved with rabbit raising
since 2000. He began the rabbit hobby with himmies in 4-H. His first
rabbit was a New Zealand named Thumper. He tried a few breeds, but
prefers and proudly raises Himalayans. He serves as district director
for the American Himalayan Rabbit Association.
He is a freelance anthropologist specializing in cultural ethnographies
and medical anthropology research. Curt is currently working on his
Master of Public Health and working towards an eventual PhD in Medical
Anthropology. He enjoys traveling with friends, colleagues, and family
all over. He hopes to leave no stone unturned in his travels and see as
much as possible during his lifetime. His favorite Ice Cream is DQ's
Midnight Truffle Blizzard. Curt also enjoys running, hiking,
backpacking, and spending time on his family’s dairy farm. During
summers he works with non-profits and grows various organically grown
veggies. Currently he is learning to hand blow glass and find his niche
in pottery by creating unique pieces from clay with friends. Curt is
happy to receive, and encourage West Virginians to contact him regarding
anything. He is easily accessible.
