| Dennis has been raising rabbits since 1953 while his wife sue has
been raising them since 1967. Dennis was well known in the 70’s and 80’s
for his exceptionally typed Rex and subsequently took multiple BOB and
BOS at ARBA Conventions. Over the years Dennis has also raised French
Lops, English Lops, Holland Lops, Mini Rex, Belgian Hares, and
Netherland Dwarfs. Dennis is the original author of the standard for the Broken Rex rabbit and is a former member of the ARBA Standards Committee. It should be no surprise that Dennis owned the first broken Rex that won BOB! He is very familiar with the process of shipping animals abroad to China, Australia, and New Zealand. Those who have Rex know that Dennis is a very big reason why the breed is what it is today. Dennis has been an ARBA Judge since 1972 and served as President of the ARBA from 1981-82. During that time in office, ARBA experienced its largest increase in membership (27,000 to 36,000). We are very fortunate to have Dennis as a resource and source of guidance in District 9! |
