Les Cramp - tmrabbitry@brucetelecom.com

My name is Les Cramp from Meaford, Ontario. I am 69 years young, a retired Human Resources Manager with over 30 years in the profession in both public and private sectors. I am presently employed part time as a church minister.

I have a small rabbitry of Polish breed and enjoy showing and associating with other exhibitors. I am presently the Secretary Treasurer for the Ontario Council of Rabbit Clubs and President of the Kitchener Waterloo Rabbit Breeders Club.

Mary Lou Eisel - Eiselml@yahoo.ca

I obtained my first show cavies in 1985 and have been showing in Canada and the US ever since. It was through the cavy fancy that I met and married Bruce. Over the years I have raised all breeds of cavies accepted by the ARBA and OCC and all varieties but Dutch.

I started judging cavies for the Ontario Cavy Club in the 1990's. Bruce wanted me to obtain my ARBA cavy license and had a dream of us judging together. I obtained my ARBA cavy registrar license 2001 and ARBA cavy judge license in 2004.

Bruce’s dream of us judging together never came true as he passed away on April 28. 2005. I have been very honoured as a new judge to have judged the ACBA specialty MN in 2006, ARBA nationals 2005 in Indianapolis, 2008 in Louisville, 2009 in San Diego, 2011 in Indianapolis, 2012 in Wichita and 2014 in Fort Worth.

In 2007 I was chosen by chairperson Jim Hupp to be member of the newly formed ARBA cavy standards committee.

I had toyed with the idea of running for the ACBA board and when Heather Bondra expressed interest in finding someone else to fill the District 8 director position, I put my name forward and successfully ran for office in 2008. After serving two terms as District 8 rep, I was voted in as ACBA president in the fall of 2012.

Betty Fletcher -
betty@goldcreekrabbitry.com

Hello I am Betty Fletcher - married to Brian since 1972, living and raising 3 sons in Ontario Canada on a operating cash crop 4 generation Century farm, while also working off farm as a professional live out Nanny in the city of London Ontario.

I am owner of Gold Creek Rabbitry a small 60 hole registered hobby rabbitry- breeding Mini Rex since 2008 in Blk and red solid and broken + 4 colours of Otters but focusing primarily on revitalizing the Tri variety- in my opinion the most  strikingly beautiful,  under appreciated variety of all.

I am Vice President of the Ontario Council Rabbit Clubs and a member of ARBA, National Mini Rex Club,Dominion Rabbit and Cavy Breeders, SORBA and Forest City Rabbit Breeders Club. In 2012 I was fortunate enough to be President of Forest City Club and helped to rebuild the club into a very active and thriving district 8 club, that now sponsors a  3 show -1 day ARBA event on our farm the last weekend of June.

I have been showing seriously at ARBA shows in Canada and USA since 2011.It has been a great experience - meeting and forming new friendships.

It was a honour to have Terry Fender ask me to take his position.I hope to hear from all or any Ontario Canada district 8 members at anytime regarding any news or concerns you may have- so I can pass them along to Terry.

Just drop me a email or pm me on Face Book.
Looking forward to seeing many of you at shows in 2016

Youth Advisory Council - Ryan Heyboer

Hello, my name is Ryan and I am honoured to be the Youth Advisory Council representative for Ontario.    As a youth breeder and along with some help from my parents, I am currently working on developing my own quality pedigreed Mini Rex and Holland Lop herds.   I am an active member of our local 4-H association participating in many clubs including our local rabbit confirmation and agility clubs.   I am learning to play guitar and like to garden in my spare time.   I enjoy participating in both the ARBA and the DRCBA youth and open shows held in Ontario throughout the year as well as having the opportunity to attend a few shows in the USA too.    A couple of highlights, have been winning my very first BIS at the KWRBC (ARBA) show in Meaford in early 2013, and then winning the prestigious Royal Agricultural Winter Fair BIS Youth award and the Jack Stratchan award for the Best Rabbit exhibited by a youth in November in Toronto with my Mini Rex, "Truffles".    I'm looking forward to the upcoming 2016 show season and am hoping to see many of my friends again participating, as well as continuing to encourage some new youth to join.
